If you could see the world through my eyes, my career position is a mom. Everything I have ever done in my entire life prepared me for the beautiful moment that I found out he needed me more than anyone in my entire life. He was in need of care 24 hours per day, seven days per week and in return, he would look up at me with his great big hazel eyes and his beautiful blonde hair with immeasurable love.
His name is Forrest. He is the face of God. Every single day, I thank God for allowing this little baby soul to come into my life and every career choice I ever made from before his was born was a reflection of how I could be the mom that I am. I am a great mom and I know that my son knows that there is no one who can be his mom better than me. We inspire peace. Here he is pictured with a kitten we adopted from Friends of Strays. Below is a self portrait he drew for me during our last weeks together in 2013. I titled it "the sticky note" because that's what he drew it on. He is all God and his art comes from his heart.
